As an experienced educational consultant, I have seen firsthand the challenges that parents face when trying to find the right school for their child. With so many options available, it can be overwhelming and confusing to navigate the admissions process. That's where educational consultants come in - we are here to guide and support families in making this important decision. At Next Level Learning, our team of educational consultants are known as the experts in New York City, but we also have extensive knowledge of boarding schools across the Northeast region. Our founder, Martha, and her husband are both educators who have raised their own daughter in independent schools in NYC.
With their personal experience and expertise, they understand the importance of finding the right fit for each individual child. One of the biggest challenges for parents is understanding their child's unique personality, academic strengths and weaknesses, learning style, interests, and goals. This is where our educational advisors can help. We work closely with families to assess these factors and match them with the right public or private school. Our goal is to ensure that each child is placed in an environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I am personally passionate about working with families as they go through the admissions process.
With over a decade of experience in higher education, I have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in finding the right school. In addition to my work as an educational consultant, I also volunteered as a tutor for high school students while studying educational policy in college. This experience has given me a unique perspective on the history of educational institutions and how they serve their students. Another member of our team, Lorelle Babwah, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our consultancy. With a background in higher education, she is dedicated to helping young people embark on their educational journeys.
After graduating, Lorelle joined Teach for America and taught kindergarten in Brooklyn. She also earned her master's degree in elementary education at the Relay Graduate School of Education.
